His name is Carl David Goldstone and he hails from the Diocese of Natal.  He is a 20 year old student and reading for his Quantity Surveying Degree  at the Durban University Of Technology.

His youth experience began in grade 8-10 with his involvement with the Student Christian Association, during which, he went on to become involved in the leadership of the organisation.  His youth ministry also extended into the church on different levels including worship, sound and, currently,  the youth leader of his parish.

He writes : “I am very passionate about developing the spirituality of the youth.  I have grown up in a christian home (Anglican) with two parents who were always very involved in the church.  My dad is currently the Rector of Christ Church, Addington (Point) in Durban.

I am very excited about an opportunity such as this.  It has been my dream to travel and learn new cultures and most importantly, to share the love of Christ with people.  I hope to bring you a full report on my experiences and travels.”

Well, we certainly look forward to that, Carl.
