Winter Choir grabs Best Choir Award at the Omulunga Gospel Music Awards 2024

 

Bishop Colin Winter Choir of St. Michael’s Anglican Parish in Windhoek, a youth group in the Anglican Christian Youth Association of the Diocese of Namibia has won the Best Choir Award at the Omulunga Gospel Music Awards 2024 held on Saturday 19th October 2024 at the National Theater of Namibia in Windhoek.

Winter Choir participated in the competition for the first time since its inception more than 10 years ago. Winter Choir was nominated into two (2) categories; Best Youth/School Choir and Best Choir. By God’s grace, Winter managed to win the Best Choir category with a song “Natu Indilileni Ounyuni Kauli Nawa” walking away with the award and N$10 000.

We congratulate these talented Young Anglicans and thank God for their use of gift and talents to spread the Gospel through their vocals.
