Not forgetting what the South African youth of 1976 fought for, St Francis Anglican Church Mdantsane focused on encouraging education to their young ones. On the 30th of June they held a graduation ceremony for their Sunday school members. Children were in graduation regalia when teachers of the Sunday school  issued certificates as motivation to them.

This memorable ceremony was followed by a career day expo with representatives from universities, Tvet colleges, the Mayor’s office, Performing arts Institutes, banking and sports sectors, consulting engineers.

Farming, agriculture and many more.
Well attended and supported, the career expo was a great experience for the children and it was very successful. A prayer for all students, especially matriculants who attended was done before dismissal.

We hope to see more of these youth  programs as we focus on building the church and creating a safe space for all.
